Dance performance has always been his passion. He started a group called SRD (Song, Rap, and Dance) with his childhood friends Kim Junsu, Hwang Tae-jun, and Choi Min Seok. When he was a teenager, he registered for SM Entertainment Auditions. His first audition was unsuccessful, however, his second audition got him a chance to become an SM Entertainment trainee. He joined the agency as a trainee together with his childhood friend Junsu (TVXQ member) in 2000. He was placed in an R&B group along with Junsu and another trainee, Sungmin. In 2003 Junsu left the group and debuted as a member of TVXQ, while Eunhyuk and Sungmin were assigned to Super Junior 05, the first generation of Super Junior. He debuted on November 6th, 2005. Eagle Eyes and Fast Learner
Eunhyuk has appeared as a guest on several TV shows. Usually, he is asked to perform a dance battle with another guest. He has eagle eyes that enable him to copy and imitate other guest’s dance performances. He also is a fast learner and a quick thinker. If the host asked him to dance without preparation he was able to imagine and perform outrageous dance moves almost immediately. Even other Super Junior members were excited and surprised by his dance.
Suitable for Many Concepts
Eunhyuk’s dancing skills and experience are suitable for many different concepts. His skill subsets include a strong performance with his breakdance moves, stylistic and charismatic performance with Michael Jackson’s inspired moves, sexy performance with freestyle dance or cool performance with robot-like dance moves.
Super Junior’s Dance Director
Due to their prominent dancing skills, Eunhyuk and Shindong are responsible for directing Super Junior concert tours since Super Show 3. In Super Junior’s fifth studio album Mr. Simple, Eunhyuk was the main director of the album’s choreography. He also directed the choreography of the second leading single, “Shirt,” from Super Junior’s seventh album Mamacita. Recently, Eunhyuk and Shindong succeeded in directing all Super Show 7 concerts.
Attractive Solo Dance Performances
Other than hosting several variety TV shows, Eunhyuk has also appeared as a guest on various TV shows. Usually, the host asks him to show a solo dance performance or do a dance battle with another guest. He prefers a strong dance performance like krump or breakdance. His athletic body and quick feet allow him to easily perform difficult and attractive dance moves. Popping dance is also one of his favorite performances. His dance moves apparently were inspired by Michael Jackson. Super Junior Fans (ELF) can easily find videos of Eunhyuk’s performances while donning a Michael Jackson inspired attire and doing “smooth criminal” dance moves.
Dancer with a Lot of Charm
Eunhyuk never hesitates to show off his charm while doing a dance performance. He oftentimes performs shirtless or shows off his washboard abs during a live performance concert. Though not famous for having a good look, he is still as charming as the main dancer of Super Junior.

Eunhyuk completed his compulsory military service on July 12th, 2017. He was appointed as Lieutenant in the training center. In MBS’ survival show of aspiring idols Under 19, the producer selected Eunhyuk as the mentor responsible for guiding and directing all contestants in the category of performance. Another artist, Crush, was responsible as a vocal director, while Dynamic Duo as a rap director. Eunhyuk and fellow Super Junior members started Super Junior’s Super TV in January 2018. The program showed their activities and recent projects. Eunhyuk is actively participating in songwriting for Super Junior’s eighth album Play. He was listed in several Super Junior subunits, including Super Junior D&E (Donghae and Eunhyuk). Last year, in 2018, Super Junior performed at the closing ceremony of Asian Games held in Jakarta. Recently, on June 15th, 2019, Super Junior held a concert titled “Super Show 7S” in Jakarta to wrap up their Super Show 7 World Tour. That’s all about Eunhyuk from Super Junior.
