McLachlan was briefly married to Karen Williams (fl. 1986)—they had attended the same secondary school—and subsequently to Neighbours’ actress Rachel Friend (1998–99). Craig McLachlan first came to the public’s attention in 1986 as Henry Ramsay in the Australian soap Neighbours. Craig McLachlan had a stint in Home and Away, and then released a single, Mona, which reached number 2 in the UK charts. McLachlan plays with his group, the appropriately named, Mullet, in pubs and bars around Sydney. McLachlan with Catherine Zeta Jones appeared in Catherine the Great.
