He was known as a philosopher and had written several books. “His book Hadees-e-Karabla is one of the few Maqtal written in Urdu and has been considered as one of the most well compiled sources to the traditions related to the Event of Karbala,” according to his website. Allama Talib Jauhari was born in Patna, India on August 27, 1938. His father Maulana Muhammad Mustafa Jauhar was a prominent scholar and an Urdu poet known for his exceptional poetry related to the Household of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), according to details available on his website. “Allama Talib Jauhari studied Islamic theology in Najaf, Iraq under Ayatollah al Uzma Sayyid Abu al-Qasim al-Khoei. He was a student of Ayatollah Shaheed Sayyid Baqir Al-sadr. He has been a class fellow of Ayatollah al Uzma Sayyid Ali Sistani, although Ayatullah Sistani was among his seniors. Allama Talib Johery was born in Bihar Iindia at the respected family of Alim. His father was also an alim named as respected Late Maulana Mustufa Jauher. Allama Talib Jauhari is the son of a Shia scholar Moulana Mohammad Mustafa Jauhar Sahib Qibla, he studied Islamic theology in Najaf, Iraq under some of the biggest Scholars of the time such as Ayatullah al Uzma Sayyid Abul Qasim al Khoei and Shaheed Sayyid Muhammad Baqir as-Sadr and his class Peers include Allamah Sayyid Zeeshan Haider Jawadi Sahib Qibla and Maulana Hameed-ul-Hasan. Apart from giving lectures in Karachi, he also Orates in Dubai and the USA. He is not only respected among the Shia community in the Indo-Pak Subcontinent but Sunnis also like to attend his lectures due to his Tafseer-e-Quran in a logical way. He is also a promoter of Shia Sunni unity in Pakistan. His real name is Abu Talib but he is famous as “Allama Talib Jauhari”. Due to his huge popularity, there is always a risk to his life from his enemies. Therefore, the Government has provided him 24 hours security which increases during the special days for Shiite Muslims (Days of Martyrdom of Imam Hussain(as)).
